SAM LiveWire

SAM LiveWire provides an affordable, one-channel environmental noise recorder/analyser, supplied with:

1 BSWA XLR microphone,
1 Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, (20-20,000 Hz),
microphone frequency-response calibration to ±0.2 dB,
Fit PC3 running Windows 7
SAM Probe and SAM Report software,
and with the following options:

    Upgrade to twin BSWA microphone
    Upgrade to GRAS XLR microphone
    GPS
    NATA certification

Whichever microphone(s) you choose will be individually calibrated flat across the entire 50-16,000 Hz range to within ±0.2 dB (using the SAM Probe frequency response table) in 1/3 octaves.

The SAM LiveWire is housed in an SKB case, one of the most robust cases available in polypropylene. Built to handle all the knocks and bangs you can expect in the field.

All SAM software includes Data Integrity Validation (DIV) technology. DIV digitally signs all data files using the security HASP. This guarantees that, at a later date, the files have not been altered.

Automatic transmission of files is possible to a remote server every 10 minutes. All files will be digitally signed and can then be sent via secure FTP (broadband Internet access is required).
